MedExchange

Dr Bill MedExchange, our original Exchange, has access to millions of WC and Auto bills, a growing name-brand customer list, a robust implementation and a record of service and responsiveness. It's the only viable open market solution to bill re-pricing, with a strong and growing roster of network, specialty, negotiation and bill review vendors.

TrialExchange

As a Payer, you would love to see what vendors could really deliver on your bills before making commitments. So give us the format of a paid bill file, and the file that you would like to use (ex. last month's). TrialExchange will do the implementation, the operations, and the reporting. You evaluate the results.

HealthExchange

Dr Bill HealthExchange is our latest implementation, and will start trading bills in the near future. The HealthExchange has all the flexibility of its family but is built to handle the volume and data needs of its market. It can be used on the front end for integration of clearinghouses, to the back end for out-of-network bills, and anything in between.

MedSelect

Dr Bill MedSelect is a program supporting pre-packaged cost containment solutions. These combine the platform of MedExchange with a starter set of selected vendors to offer a complete re-pricing program. Now any payer can gain a powerful and extensible solution quickly and with little investment.

Welcome to the Dr Bill Exchanges

Welcome to the next generation of medical bill processing. Dr Bill is an electronic exchange for medical bill claims payers and their cost containment partners. It supports business between carriers, TPAs, self-insureds, bill review firms, and other bill processors; and providers of PPO, fee schedule / UCR, pharmacy, ASC, DME, UR, negotiated, and other medical discounts.

An Open Market Alternative

The Dr Bill Exchanges present payers and vendors with the only viable open market alternative to medical bill re-pricing. In some markets, it has become the only viable vehicle to build a national program without defaulting to the usurious business model of an oligopoly.

Today, in each line of business, the bill re-pricing market is a choice between two poor alternatives: point-to-point connections and complex and constantly-changing software to manage the bills; or the convenience of a proprietary one-stop-shopping solution that has been constructed to maximize the vendor's revenue and control. In neither case can an open market principle apply: in the first case, the technology constraints limit the number of vendors a given payer can manage. In the second, the vast majority of vendors are off-limits to the payer, and the price is high.

Dr Bill MedExchange

Dr Bill MedExchange is the original Dr Bill exchange, and currently has access to more than 6 million payer bills. Those bills are serviced by a roster of vendors that includes household names. While important in all markets, the flexibility and control that Dr Bill affords Payers, and the level playing field it provides Vendors, is even more critical in WC and Auto cost containment. Today, both payers and vendors in this market are running out of options. And the remaining choices operate in business models that are far from the open market, neutral third-party approach of MedExchange.
